Matt Board

Matt Board [pictured] is the founder and Managing Director of Broker.com.au.
 
Prior to launching Broker.com.au Matt had a successful finance career working for some of the world’s largest investment banks in London (JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland). This institutional experience was also combined with operating his own boutique advisory business.
 
Whilst Broker.com.au has its proprietary FinMatch® platform, allowing the team to instantly find the best lender for any given situation, Matt also recognised the need to retain that human element of highly experienced finance brokers to be available to speak with clients directly, as no business loan is the same as another

The team at Broker.com.au, under the watchful eye of its founder, have developed a unique offering to help all Australian borrowers large and small.

Matt qualified with a Bachelor of Business, Double Major in Finance and Marketing. In addition he holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, and  Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.

Shelly Raphael

Shelly Raphael (pictured) is a Partner and Senior Broker of Broker.com.au.

Prior to joining Broker.com.au, Shelly had a successful corporate career working at American Express within their Corporate Card and Working Capital solution teams. The experience gained at various roles in American Express gave Shelly the confidence to start his own lending consultancy business.

Skilled in capital raising, financing strategies and restructuring solutions for special situations, Shelly focuses on his ability to build strong relationships with clients as well as financiers. He is keen to explore the Asian and Middle East markets to help provide Australian companies access to international capital as well.

Shelly qualified with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from RMIT University along with a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.

Craig Jones

Craig is a seasoned financial services professional with over 20 years’ experience in financial services, investments, and wealth management. Having led teams, managed investments, and worked with diverse clients, Craig has built his career on clear communication, strong relationships, and delivering results.

Today, Craig is a successful finance broker, helping clients secure the right funding to achieve their goals. Offering a wide range of business and consumer finance solutions, with a focus on business lending including asset finance, business acquisition and expansion finance and working capital.

Craig’s approach is simple: understand each client’s unique needs and deliver tailored solutions that make a real difference.

Senior Broker

Ash Sukhwani

Ash Sukhwani joins Broker.com.au with having over 23 years experience in the commercial payments banking & financial services industry. Prior to joining us Ash has held various senior Leadership roles at American Express, CBA and GE Capital where she was responsible for leading the Acquisition /Business Development and relationship management channels. Focusses on developing and executing strategies that ensure an efficient and profitable relationship for the SME and the wider organisation. 

In her last role as a Director of the American express Corporate Payment sales solutions business, she worked with a highly motivates sales teams who offers insignts and solutions through best in class practices and business funding solutions. Her role predominantly focussed on delivering Business/corporate cards  and other expense management solutions to small to medium sized companies.

Ash has a Masters Degree in Communication Management from UTS ( Sydney ) and has secured certificate in Leadership Excellence from Harvard Business School.
